Participants will be taught rod load calculations and also partake in an exercise involving changing out a valve on a compressor in our on-site production training facility.

  • Understand how and why compressors are the most common piece of equipment used in the handling and transportation of natural gas.
  • Understand why the reciprocating type of gas compressor is the most widely used method of gas compression.
  • Become familiar with the Gas Compressor Theory, principles of operation, maintenance programs, and repair indicators.
